this skirt was made out of a deconstructed teenage mutant ninja turtles hoodie. i completely disassembled the sweatshirt, creating the main panels of the skirt out of the front and back of the sweatshirt, used the bottom cuff of the sweatshirt to create a waistband, and used portions of the sleeves and hood to create the asymmetrical hemline. the pouch pocket of the sweatshirt was sewed onto the front of the skirt, and the cord that was inside the hood was used as the drawstring at the waist.

It's really cute! I like the color and the text on the butt (I assume you took the photo in a mirror) It looks comfy, and is a good idea. Nice job!

Looks really cool. Bet I still have all my old action figures laying around somewhere in my closet lol. The photo in the mirror threw me for a minute there. Would really have to try that if it were...er... a kilt.
